Detailed review on the amazing “Remanence” 1|Blue area , Islamabad|

Wednesday night, around 8:00 PM, I was passing by blue area in search of food and I stopped at Remanence for dinner.  The ambiance was okay, more towards good but still not excellent however, the dinning area was good but, the bathroom is one of the biggest problems of the place.

The place is well known for it’s taste so I didn’t complain about the minor issues, kept myself calm and decided to give it’s food a quick try. speaking of it’s menu, I guess it lacks variety and the prices were above average and more towards the pricy side. 

I ordered “almond chicken”, “grilled skewer prawns” ,”skillet brownie” and a “mint margarita”.

The wait-staff was nice, kind and helpful. I waited for about 30 minutes for my order. After 30 minutes they served me my order and the food seemed pretty good. At least, smelled nice.

The food was actually hot and fresh and upon tasting I realized that the taste was okay but, not much impressive. I liked the almond chicken but, the prawns were kind of awful. I paid so much for the prawns and the taste was not up to the mark.

However, the brownie was something I would recommend. it was fresh and rich in taste even better than I expected. No complaints about the mint margarita too.

As I already mentioned that the place is a bit expensive. I give this place half thumbs up and half down and that is my way of saying the place is good but, not very good.
