Chilman restaurant is a one stop shop for all the desi food lovers. It has everything starting from a super desi channa chaat, gol gappay, dahi baray to chicken and mutton karahi.
My recent visit to the place was last week when i felt so bored of the continental food and craved for something desi to remind myself of my culture and home. Obviously Pakistani cuisine had always been my favorite. The taste, the tarka, the spices, the smell of fresh peppermint and corriander makes me feel nostalgic.
Anyway, The place has a fine parking that means you do not have to drive around the roads to find an empty unsafe lot. The ambiance is really good and something like a Pakistani TV drama would show as the Urdu and Pakistani culture. The menu has so many options and i am sure there is something for everyone and every kind of craving.
I ordered Aloo bhujiya with saada roti and vegetable pakoras. The staff, as always was friendly but, the wait time is like, ALOT! They literally served me after 70 minutes, if that makes any sense. But, again! The wait was worth it.
Everything was amazing, the aloo bhujiya had a wonderful combination of spices and the vegetable pakoras were crispy and fresh. The roti was fully cooked and light.
The prices are okay but i guess can be editted. It is bit more towards the pricy side which I never mind when they’re providing you quality.
I recommend visiting this place with family and groups for lunch dinner or even a simple cup of tea. I really like their tea.
